Purpose & Business Context

This directory is the wellness counterpart to Find Care, built around the Green Leaf / Olive Leaf certification the Ministry of Tourism awards to Ayurveda and wellness centres, plus NABH-Wellness and ISO 22525. It turns an opaque market of retreats into a vetted, comparable shortlist.

Only vetted centres appear, and the leaf grade is shown verbatim from the certification source — never inferred — so trust is earned, not implied.

Screen Overview

A hero, a filter bar (leaf grade, AYUSH system), and a responsive grid of centre cards. Each card shows the centre, location, leaf badge, accreditations, systems, rating and a link to the centre profile.

Controls & Components

  • Grade filter: All / Green Leaf / Olive Leaf.
  • System filter: all six AYUSH systems.
  • Centre card: leaf badge, accreditation chips, systems, rating and reviews, and a View centre link.
  • Centre profile: programs offered with indicative pricing, accreditations, and a Plan this program action.

Field Definitions

  • Green Leaf: The premium Ministry of Tourism classification for Ayurveda centres meeting the highest standards.
  • Olive Leaf: The standard Ministry of Tourism classification for certified Ayurveda centres.
  • NABH-Wellness: National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers accreditation for wellness centres.
  • ISO 22525: The international standard for medical wellness tourism services adopted via the Bureau of Indian Standards.

User Actions & Workflows

  1. Filter by leaf grade and/or AYUSH system to narrow the list.
  2. Compare centres on accreditations, systems and rating.
  3. Open a centre profile to see programs and indicative pricing.
  4. Press Plan this program to start a wellness journey.

Reached from the Wellness hub trust strip and the site header. Each card leads to a centre profile (/wellness/centres/[id]); planning routes to registration and, in the portal, the wellness program plan.

Business Rules & Constraints

  • Only vetted centres are listed publicly.
  • Leaf grade is displayed verbatim from the certification source, never inferred.
  • Indicative pricing only; wellness is not described as medical treatment.

Data Dependencies

Reads wellnessCentres and ayushSystems from lib/data. The profile additionally resolves programsForCentre to list the programs a centre offers.

Error Handling & Edge Cases

  • A filter combination with no matches shows a zero-count state with the filters still visible to adjust.
  • A missing centre id renders the not-found page; an unvetted centre is never linked.

User Roles & Permissions

Public; browsing requires no account.
